Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics

Pharmacokinetics is a branch of pharmacology dedicated to determining the fate of substances     administered to a living organism.

Pharmacodynamics is the study of the biochemical, physiological, and molecular effects of drugs on the body and involves receptor binding post receptor effects, and chemical interactions.
